Dr. Frederick Barken is a retired primary care physician with more than twenty years of medical experience. In addition to that, he previously served as the Director of Cayuga Medical Associates and as an Adjunct Instructor in Health Policy at Ithaca College. Dr. Barken received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University.
Karen Donovan is a healthcare strategy consultant for over two decades, focusing on strategic planning, corporate M&A, and business development across the healthcare continuum across thirty cities in the United States. Ms. Donovan is a graduate from The Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania and is an active investor in early-stage healthcare.
Suzy Engwall is the CEO and Founder of HealthTech Strategies, where she is an innovation leader, speaker, startup advisor, and mentor that has been working to make positive change in healthcare settings for almost two decades. Ms. Engwall is also the Co-Director for HealthTech at the Founder Institute, one of the world's leading accelerator programs.
Catherine Finn is the Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives and the Deputy Editor at Harvard Health Publishing. She was previously the Executive Producer for OpioidX: The Opioid Crisis in America, and the Course Director for Treating and Preventing Addiction in Community-Based Settings. Ms. Finn received her MBA from Boston University.
Ron Guido is a Lecturer in Biological Sciences at Columbia University and has held roles in clinical research and product development for medical devices since 1980. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Development Officer at Brooklyn ImmunoTherapeutics and the Head of Worldwide Regulatory Strategy for Pfizer.
Ajay Nyamati is a seasoned Sales & Strategy Leader with more than a decade of industry experience in digital health. He teaches Business Applications of AI & ML at Columbia University and is the Co-Founder and CEO of Kitsa, a startup making clinical trials accessible to everyone. Prior to that, he was a Partner Growth Leader at Amazon Web Services.
Manish Chaubey is a Post-Doc at Harvard Medical School conducting cutting-edge research in membrane proteins. He has a strong background in structural biology, holding a Ph.D. in Protein NMR from the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology and an Integrated M. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi.
Joel Johnson George is currently an NIH T32 Post-Doc Research Fellow at Columbia University, where he studies transitional zone epithelial cells in the small intestine and stomach. Alongside his research, Joel has also built expertise as a regulatory and business management consultant for diverse biological and technical startups.
Carolyn is a PhD Candidate in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Columbia University. Her thesis is focused on the cellular mechanism of injury following repetitive mild blast traumatic brain injuries. She is the recipient of the DoD National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship, awarded to less than 2% of applicants.
Ali Rashidfarrokhi is a Post-Doc Fellow at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where he manages immuno-oncology projects developing novel antibodies as monotherapies. He graduated from New York University with a Ph.D. in Immunology and the University of Amsterdam with a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences.
Carly Bolton is a marketing-oriented student at Harvard University, where she is studying Economics and Computer Science. She previously served as a Chief Marketing Officer for Harvard Student Agencies, where she achieved a 75% YoY growth from $850k to $1.3M, and sent more than 22,000 B2B/B2C marketing emails every single week.
Lilly Montelle is a student at Barnard College studying Economics and Computer Science. She is an Organizing Member for Columbia University's DivHacks, Girls Into VC Fellow, and an entrepreneurship professional at Barnard's Athena Center for Leadership with a focus on the startup and venture capital space.
Lea Yang is a marketing specialist with prior expertise developing campaigns and managing social media platforms for a prior startup at Harvard Business School. She is the Founder and Business Owner of Scentstone Jewelry and has achieved success as an active member of the Young Entrepreneur's Academy in Southern California.
Jillian Zolot is a student at Tufts University, where she is studying Biopsychology and Finance. At Tufts, she serves as the Director of Recruitment for an internationally-recognized entrepreneurship organization. People-oriented, pragmatic, and focused, she is passionate about increasing access to resources in the public health arena.
